If there is magic on the Planet Earth, it is contained in water. Water is life giver and enables human beings to survive. Our home planet is uniquely gifted with water which covers one third of this Earth.
Scientists have demonstrated that if you consume something that competes with the absorption of cholesterol, you can lower total cholesterol levels. Water makes the movement of materials and information possible among cells through micro channels in the heart muscles, it makes it possible for them to contract and so let the heart beat. In the bowel, it allows digestive and absorptive functions. In the liver cells, it carries toxins into the urine. In the cartilage, it protects the ends of bones in a joint and so prevents arthritis. Indeed, no life processes are possible without water.
Most people do not drink enough water which leads to a number of serious diseases. Several scientific studies have found that less intake of water increase risk for developing subtle levels of dehydration, which can lead to a host of symptoms: headaches, constipation, dry skin, fatigue, and indigestion which may lead to dehydration. Some physicians have gone as far as to suggest that many common health concerns, including high blood pressures, asthma and chronic pain have their origins in dehydration.
The body is made up of approximately 70 percent water out of which grey matter in the brain contains 85 percent of water. Hence we should be sure to take sufficient quantity of water to keep our brain functioning properly. Water influences the proper functioning of our mental activity. Water also cures irregular heartbeat. Water prevents kidney stones.
Another good reason to drink water is to lose weight. Water intake plays an important role in combating obesity; people who drink more water tend to eat less because water takes the edge off hunger. Drink water and see the magic working.
Two glasses of water taken on empty stomach in the morning, benefits the most. At that time stomach is empty and the cleaning of body system is done without by obstruction from food articles. Water taken in the morning not only cleanses the body of all toxins but also it invigorates and energizes all the vital organs of the body.
Taking enough quantity of water daily reverses the ageing process. Drinking plenty water is one of the simplest and least expensive way to reverse the aging process. Pure water flushes out toxins and wastes from the body and ensures perfect health which helps one to look and feel younger and energetic.
Water performs various valuable tasks for us like:
1. Lubrication.
2. Respiration. (Moistens and warm air before it reaches lungs.)
3. Increase mental & physical performance.
4. Keeping skin healthy and glowing.
5. Increase metabolism.
6. Regulates appetite.
The list goes on. So, the next time you are heading to fetch a glass of water, do say “abra ka dabra”- here comes water magic!
