LUXURY SOUNDS FROM B&W AND KEF
Slightly less exclusive of the two with 1000 pairs being made and an £11,000 (Rs 913,000) price tag - are the new B&W Signature Diamonds. Named for their diamond dome tweeters and encased in a marble pod, the speakers are claimed to take the equivalent of six months in man hours to make one pair.
The speakers use elliptical and cylindrical tubes to form their enclosures, with the main tube standing tall. They're finished in either white or dark veneer.
A preview listen to the Designer speakers revealed the speakers to possess all the scale you'd expect from a design with seven drive units and a UniQarray at their heart and they look totally stunning.

FRUITY SPEAKERS
Going against the traditional speaker caveat of blending-in to surroundings, Audio Pro has released their All room Sat speakers in a variety of loud and mouth-watering colors which will be soon in the markets. The apple, cherry, lemon, grape and orange shades join the more traditional black, silver and white finishes to give the buyer far more options than are strictly necessary.

They're available as either stereo speakers, or as part of a 5.1 system, and come complete with wall brackets.

MP3
Another take on the iPod dock, V1BLUEe is more than that. It's a first in convergence technology. In the box you get a wail-mountable stereo system and matching iPod dock. The fact that you can't see a wire between the two in the picture is because the dock pumps your tunes to the stereo using Bluetooth. The system is also compatible with your Bluetooth phone, not only letting you listen to your mobile's tunes on the stereo, but also ringing when you have an incoming call and acting as a speaker-phone when you answer! There's CD playback and FM/MW radio on offer, too. Watch out for its coming shortly.

HOME CINEMA
Sony is coming with bargain cinema sound. Three cheaper 'STR-DG' options are about to hit the shops. While prices are low, the feature-count's high: even the entry-level STR-DG510 (Rs 15,000 estimated) has HDMI switching and digital auto set-up. The 'DG710 and 'DG910 complete the new line-up.

HEADPHONES
Are you confused what headphones to take on your next flight? JVC suggests you consider its HA-NC80 noise canceling cans. They have two modes of operation: the 'wide' mode targets a wider range of frequencies and is designed to cancel the specific type of noise you'd typically find in the cabin of a commercial airliner.

MP3
Sony is coming up with the Giga Juke HDD System, the NAS-50HDE, and a versatile, multi-purpose micro system. Armed with an 80GB hard disk drive, the system can store, rip, play and transfer your music in digital form. Whether from your PC or straight from CD, the Giga juke will rip into MP3, ATRAC or linear PCM format, then play your tunes using its own speakers or by transferring your music to your portable.
