Are you sick of the city life? Your usual routines have made your life so easy to guess for anyone. Get away with the monotonous lifestyle and free yourself on the open road. Hit the highway for a road trip that'll put the city far out of your mind and give you a break which you won’t forget for your life time. If you've been on a road trip, you can easily relate to the high which is better than any party, and if you haven't, just explore and experience. It's a different buzz being out on the highway, hitting the gas pedal, with no traffic, no screaming boss, no one in sight. You'll feel other effects too.
ADVENTURE ELEMENT
Go anywhere that promises to be fun. You could hit a landmark you haven't visited. You'll see much more than you normally would if you took a flight or a train. Plus you can stop where you want and for as long as you like. Other option could be a place festival like the famous Pushkar Mela near Ajmer, etc. Take along a good friend who also enjoys small little adventures like sipping a hot cup of tea at a road side dhaba. Or you can also take along someone you don't already know very well and whose unique observations will make your trip all the more unpredictable and exciting. If the distance is long, take someone who can take turns at the wheel.
LUGGAGE
Don't pack too many clothes. Carry a few that you can mix and match, it's a great way to experiment with style. Remember, no one knows you here. Alternatively, just pack the clothes you haven't worn in years like the faded Bart Simpson T-shirt you last wore in school. You can relive old memories and even if people wonder what you're doing in a black dress on the highway, its okay, they don't know you.
IN THE CAR
Don't clean your car. Let whatever collects at the bottom, in the glove compartment, on the floor; just lie there till you got back. Give love a shot on the road. Remember, there are no set rules here, no phone calls, and no fixed dates, anywhere to go. It's just you, the cool looking person in the next car and the big wide road. Try making eye contact through the rear-view mirror. Then look away. Repeat until you have his attention. Try waving with a smile.
The needle's pointing to E and you know it's time to get back. You feel so good; Rejuvenated, refreshed, almost reborn. Every time life comes to the point where you're flipping TV channels aimlessly, eating the same lunch at the same desk, you'll pump in the gas, check the radiator and hit the highway.
