There is so much available for your indoors like the best of furniture, the lights, the accessories, etc, which has really made your home a label for best interiors. Here are some guidelines for your outdoors as well.

PRUNING
If you have trees on outdoors do prune them to remove dead, broken or crossing branches. And this should be done in appropriate months which may differ from tree to tree. Remove tree stakes from the trees when the trunks are larger than 2". Prune the shrubs on a need basis. This is done to maintain the natural plant appearance. Remove branches that are dead and broken. Weed as and when necessary.

GARDEN
Keep grass trimmed on regular basis. Cut the edges at an angle for a more natural appearance and healthier growth. Weeds in planted areas should be removed weekly or when they emerge. Avoid light or too much watering. This may cause shallow root development and lead to heavy thatch development. Best time to water the lawns is early morning, as the wind is usually calm and the temperature is low, so less water is lost to evaporation. Weeding should be undertaken regularly for your lawn. Use of proper garden tools for weeding is a must. Mow, edge and trim lawns weekly or as required to maintain an even, well-groomed appearance. All irrigation heads should be kept clear of plants. All newly-planted grass needs time to get established, mow it at least three times before applying the first fertilizer treatment.

POTTED PLANTS
Do not allow the soil mix to dry excessively. After watering thoroughly, allow the mix to dry to a slightly moist condition before watering again. Completely saturate the soil mix with water to fill the pore spaces. Pour enough water into the pot so that it drains out through the drainage hole. Use a pipe fitted with a nozzle for watering potted plants.

WATERING
Water the landscape when footprints or mower tracks become easily visible on grass. Skip watering on rainy days. Flower gardens may need less water than grass areas. Check the root ball area, because newly-planted trees and shrubs have a very restricted root absorption zone. To minimize brown spots due to watering, check sprinkler coverage and frequently look for broken lines or heads.

PEST CONTROL
Pest and disease control is the logical process of minimizing insects, animals and pathogens. All chemicals should be used in accordance with label directions and the manufacturer’s recommendations and handling instructions.

FOOD FOR PLANTS
Plants need food like we as humans do to maintain healthy life. Along with good pesticides they need fertilizers to give them strength, organic manure like cow dung, micro nutrients spray and neem cake.

Keep your outdoors clean as they serve as impressions to the indoors of your house.
