Experts reckon that women have higher levels of temper tantrums as compared to their male counterparts.

Does this list sound familiar?
• Shopping, telephone sales calls and customers who block your way in the supermarket.
• Other people’s tempers children’s tantrums and moaners.
• Cost of living, shortage of money and unemployment.
• Crime.
• Being demeaned by others, being wrongly blamed or talked about behind your back.
• Being taken for granted.
• Dirty streets, dogs fouling the pavement and people who spit the street.
• Time wasters, such as workmen who don’t turn up.
• Irritating people and men who tell smutty jokes.
• Bad management by authorities and politicians.
• Inconsiderate drivers.
• Badly behaved children.
• Your own inadequate, hurting yourself accidentally, getting the do it yourself or dress making measurements wrong.
• Self satisfied radio programmes.

All the above points, according to experts, are common causes of temper tantrums and, it seems, women, especially working ones, lose their temper more often, more intensely and also express it more forcibly than men.

Temper tantrums:
It seems reasonable to assume that those who lose their temper more frequently and get angry the most are exposed to greater frustrations, higher stress levels and more strain. Women who work and don’t have children are also likely to have a role clash of trying to combine career and home.

Anger analysis:
According to experts, the five top most things that cause women to blow their heads are:
• Unfair personal criticism: A woman immediately concludes that her personal self worth is being attacked when she is unfairly criticized.
• Social slights: when a woman experiences social rudeness, her feelings of what’s right and wrong are offended.
• Being let down by people they trust.
• Their own behavior, this makes women feel foolish and naïve for having trusted the wrong person.
• Inconsiderate or cruel actions, in other words women see cruelty or lack of consideration for other people as an attack on all. It offends their sense of what’s right and wrong.

Each tantrum begins with a trigger, sometimes it could be something as trivial as a split cup of coffee. The next stage is interpretation. It is therefore, vital that people try to control the single trigger that causes this cycle of anger.

People tend to work on what’s best for them, when answered. Some go for a walk, others breathe deeply and, often, actually count to 10.but probably, and the best diffuser of the temper tantrum is laughter.
