8. POSTURE: It is very important that your child is working in the right body posture. Lazy, Sloppy or lounging postures hinders alertness. The right posture enables them to get better results without tiring their bodies or hurting their back.

9. LIGHTING: There should be enough light in the study room, or the room where your child is doing some activity. The light should be appropriate and should be comfortable to the child’s eyes. Lights should not cast shadows over the books or the place of work. Lights should not cast shadows or glares as this strain the eyes and your children can feel eye tiredness.

10. SET AN EXAMPLE AS GOOD MANAGER: Teach your child the value of time by being a good time manager yourself. Schedule your activities in such manner that your child knows how precious time is. Like as a mother show your child that keeping things in order can save so much time as you need not have to look for them. The child can keep his things like the books, the pencil box o the other required things at the study table, so that when he/she is studying time is not wasted looking for these things.

11. DAILY HOMEWORK: Get your children in the habit of doing daily homework in the afternoon. This is the ideal time as one recalls what he has done in school and will find it more easy and quick to finish the homework and then the evenings would be free for play, or the activity the kids like to be involved with. Afternoons are the least disturbed time of the days which will also help your child to concentrate better. This might take time to work on the afternoon homework routine as the child is tired but once this routine is made, it will really help the child. Check the homework daily. Make sure that your ward don’t skip or pile the homework for the last day.  Make sure that they understand what is being taught and if they miss a class they find out what was taught so that there are no gaps in their studies.

12. IMPORTANCE OF FACTS:  Make the children learn the importance of facts. Let them not follow something without knowing its importance or the facts behind it. For instance they just can’t mug up the syllabus and get good marks while not understanding what does it means or without knowing the actual knowledge of it.

13. TIME TABLE: Have a time table for your children.  A routine will help them realizing the importance of discipline and its fruitful results. They should have time allotted for study or for play or for hobby classes etc. Time table should facilitate adjustments which might occur due to social or other factors.

15. FOLLOW UP: Practice makes the man perfect.

With these achiever’s secret you could definitely make a difference to your child’s life.
