There are many children who throw tantrums while going to school, or doing a particular activity. Many parents suspect the teacher to be the culprit. But at times the problem could be different. There might be some visitors in the house to whom the kids get attached, and then when they leave, the child misses them and does not feel like going to school. The helplessness makes him/her stressed and most of the times the child is unable to express his feelings. When parents jump to conclusions that either the teacher punished the kid, or some child hit the kid, then such accusations may not go well with the school faculty who are doing their utmost to settle an emotionally disturbed child. Maybe, you could change your tact or approach. If your approach is soft and gentle you may find a positive response from the other side. First try to locate the origin of the problem that why a kid has suddenly developed disinterest or is behaving differently.

UNDERSTANDING CHILD PSYCHOLOGY
The child is very possessive about his belongings and his toys. You must have seen how kids don’t share their toys especially the young lads. We often accuse the child to be sulky and selfish. They often hide their toys from cousins or friends, or snatch it away from their hands. This may happen if the kid has to cope with a new set of relatives. They might have laughed, ridiculed and broke some of his toys while playing with them. And when the child secures his toys from them, parents would correct the child, scold him, and tell him to share his toys with other children. The child often refuses to go to school or elsewhere if those children are around as he fears that his toys are in danger.  Toys are his prized possessions, his precious jewels. There is nothing more precious to young children than the toys he had treasured for so long.

If your child comes out of class, when school gets over, unhappy, upset or crying, it is obvious that there is a problem in the school. Maybe there was a fight in the class, or maybe the teacher ticked him off, or the child did not stand first in the class competition, maybe it is constipation. Or, having completed the term, the fears of losing the old teacher he has become fond of.

There are many instances where children come to school in the mornings, crying from home, and leave school in the afternoons, happy and content. We often tell children that we will tell their teachers about the way they trouble us be it having a glass of milk or something else. The child gets in constant fear that whenever her mother and the teacher met, they would be exchanging a complaint list of her misdeeds. The child doesn’t know how to handle these feelings, so crying came natural every time Mom and the teacher talking together.
