All about biking?

Not so much, for biking is just a part that adds buoyancy to the Roadies ‘appeal’, much centered on their actions and character.

Undoubtedly, MTV Roadies has gone big. It has become one of the biggest realty shows which now runs in its sixth year, and still holds undeterred audiences, who actually do not mind watching even the repeat telecasts of Roadies-Hell Down Under.

This year, the Roadies has an added shimmer of going Australia, which can sometimes make you believe that going weird, talking rubbish, and a bit of good looks can take you there, and hence, the huge number of candidates for auditions was obvious.

Not that crossing national boundaries is the only magnetic force attracting audiences as well as participants; the Roadies equation of ‘victory= fame + recognition’ too has an important part to play. This calls for huge participation from among the masses, usually youngsters.

The saying that every person in this world is unique adds to the TRP of this show. The auditions this time have been the most entertaining. It is somehow interesting to watch people getting humiliated on national television, and the ways, the unique ways in which these people take insults. And this also makes the viewers to believe that weird people get selected, with interactions being the best part. It is through the appeal of these auditions that viewers are found velcroed to MTV; to see how money and fame can make people fake it, fake themselves, their rules of life, their jargon, and a lot more.

In short, Roadies offers to its viewers intriguing content that is a masala mix of politics, glamour, style, teamwork, and most importantly, ‘not being oneself’!
