The situation in the Valley seems absolutely grim. Call it mishandling of the situation or politics of the worst kind, but there’s no denying that anger and disgust seems to be spreading out. Together with that, the fact that the right wing outfits is waiting out there to take the fullest possible political mileage out of this.
People had become suspicious of the so ailed other fear had generated to an extent that Muslims were saving their homes to move towards additional settings and a strange feeling of being hounded had actual compounded the situation. Divide created, psyches affected, insecurities erupted also from the fact that police could not be looked upon some sort of a savior. And what was left half-done during the early 90s, was carried through during the 2002 pogrom in Gujarat. Not to be overlooked the fact that by then most of us had equipped ourselves with television sets, so those happenings were right there. And now this latest round of controversy in the state of J&K has been made into a full-fledged political issue.
Dragging on, dragging along several vital factors. Like that nuclear deal, facts and factors lie under a big heap, whilst communal frenzy is getting whipped up as never before. In fact, all these weeks the establishment at the Centre was so passionately obsessed with going through that nuclear deal that it overlooked the rather alarming developments in Jammu and the Valley.
Those big worded theories doing the rounds that in decades to come that nuclear deal will do wonders for the people of this country, but see what's happening right now. We are throttling each other. Don’t know whether you found it odd or not but those shots, of some of the New Delhi politicians munching away, during that recent round of talks in Srinagar.
The present condition in Jammu and Kashmir region is been created by politicians itself for vote bank issues. There are leaders from the center coming to the state without knowing the sensitivity of the issue. It is been over 45 days since life is stuck here but the center has not come to the conclusion yet and we don’t know for how much more days it will go but that’s for sure that the politicians have got one more issue to divide the common man. Heated discussions and arguments take off on political issues, but, then, what’s a healthy conversation with these. It seemed some¬what upsetting. There’s hell and havoc on the roads and intersections, but, then, who’d care. All too involved in the political mess, so mess on the roads is hardly a priority. And those who matter and could make about changes are driven in those big bodied governmental cars so makes little difference to their bodies and souls put together. And now as news is coining along that Right Wing outfits are spreading out their agitation to other sectors of the country, it could spell more havoc along the expected strain. Unless we throw aside vote bank politics and address core issues.
