When people start to age, fat gets accumulated on the stomach, resulting in bulged and undefined abdomen. Stomach liposuction or abdominal liposculpture helps to get rid of the flab in the stomach (localized subcutaneous adiposity), especially the love handles of men and the lower tummy bulge developed by a female after delivery. On the contrary, it is not possible for stomach liposuction or else tummy tuck to dislodge the intra-abdominal fat, situated inside close to the intestinal loops (mesentery). It helps to get rid of fat permanently, yet safely. Furthermore, it rights the laxity of skin, causing the abdomen to be shaped so that it is flattened and smoothened as much as possible. Abdominal fat is often difficult to get rid of, after dieting, exercising vigorously and even after undergoing training. Abdomen behavior with age is mostly hereditary. It is possible to undergo abdominal liposuction in most ages. The quantity of fat, which can be withdrawn, varies from small to extremely large.

Determining The Stomach Flab Type
You can know if the stomach flab is localized subcutaneous abdominal fat or muscle. By grabbing hold of stomach fat and skin between fingers and your thumb, it feels soft and can be raised up, as well as down, relative to going far down, it will be flab that can be withdrawn through liposuction.

Stomach Liposuction Procedure
Stomach liposuction can be done with minimally invasive technique. This method is safe, reliable and is over quickly in one hour. The liposuction procedure involves numbing stomach fat with local anesthesia for which only dilute solution is required. Microannulas, the little surgical instruments are used to remove fixed quantity of fat, in a regulated smooth passage and a superior effect is achieved, than with bigger instruments. If there is no need to remove too much fat from stomach, stomach liposuction can be done in combination with other body areas. For men, these areas comprise of chest, neck and love handles, whereas for women, combination can be hips, thighs, arms and neck.

The aftereffects are minimal with only some slight soreness just similar to other body areas, which had undergone minimally invasive technique. The feeling is compared to what one experiences when undergoing rigorous exercise the previous day like some thousand stomach exercise. The new attractive body shape starts to emerge around three-four weeks, but its final effect is visible only by twelve-twenty weeks. After stomach liposuction patients can go back to their work on the next day. The patients can also engage in lighter activities.

The tummy tuck or abdominoplasty comparatively is an invasive procedure unlike stomach liposuction. The risks are also greater, even resulting in death. Usually greater percentage of patients only requires stomach liposuction, especially initially. Stomach liposuction can tighten the skin laxity that prevents the need for a tummy tuck.

On the other hand, for stomach liposuction if minimally invasive technique is not used it can take longer. Abdominal liposculpture can be numbed using lidocaine in a process termed as tumescence. Using micro-liposculpture technique and instruments, which are only half of the traditional cannulas, precise results with minimal bruising can be obtained.
